I never drank Scotch before but was delighted with this first experience..The items at the higher prices must really be good. This was about my limit on cost.

For something so highly rated I expected much more. Not complex and overpowering, I much prefer Glenlivet or Dewars in the same age class.

Good Scotch
I used to drink Macallan regularly some time ago. I remember it as a very nice Scotch. I found other Scotch I prefer, but, I would drink it again. It's good and not too expensive. It mostly deserves its high rating. I might rate the 12 year old just a little lower, but I like a different type of Scotch mostly.
