This is a real gin
I've been a Beefeaters person for decades, but on a visit to London a few years ago I found that it isn't all that available or popular in its home. A spirits merchant suggested VJOP upon my description of why I liked Beefeaters so much - the juniper. And when Beefeaters in 2020 stepped on their product going from 47% to 44%, I knew I had to change my affections. I always drink gin on the rocks, so you have to like the flavor. Sipsmith VJOP meets my criteria very well. As an aside, look into the history of British Navy Strength. It's quite interesting.
