A very pretty cabernet with very fine tannins that are polished and fresh. Beautiful currant, chocolate and walnut character. Medium to full body and a long, caressing finish. Builds beautifully at the end. So delicious now, but will develop nicely in bottle. Real 2018 character. Top vintage. Try after 2024.

On the nose, the Stags' Leap Napa Valley CABERNET SAUVIGNON layers black fruit notes with aromas of cola, clove, coffee and black pepper. Taste it, and the flavors of blackberry, black cherry, anise, black tea and dark chocolate are revealed. Full bodied with an integrated tannin structure, this CABERNET SAUVIGNON offers hints of mineral which enhance the complex fruit through a long finish.
